Azamat Akeleev

Founder & Director

 

Azamat Akeleev has more than 15 years of experience in initiating, implementing and scaling development projects in the region, focused on entrepreneurship, energy and public finance management. Since 2009, Azamat also is a co-founder of a Kyrgyz private energy distribution company Nural Energo. Azamat is active in public roles related to economic development, including as adviser to the Government of Kyrgyz Republic and chair of public oversight body at the Ministry of Finance. Azamat has an MBA degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Kumar Bekbolotov

Partner

 

Kumar Bekbolotov is a Partner at Promotank, with over 12 years of experience in public and private sector development in Central Asia. Before joining Promotank, Kumar was a country executive for Kyrgyzstan at Open Society Foundations, a private philanthropic network. Earlier, he was the Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan director at IWPR, a British media development organization.Kumar’s expertise is in public sector reform, good governance and civil society development. Kumar has an MBA degree from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and a graduate degree in political science from Central European University in Hungary.
